The Junior High at Altal Loma have been creating colorful Banyan Trees. We researched what these amazing trees were and how they grow. The students then drew their own tree and painted it with black tempera. They next reviewed oil pastel blending and were told that they were to blend adjacent colors together to create a secondary or tertiary color from the blend. The effect was is a beautiful backdrop to their trees. Students are currently working on their trees refelection at the bottom of the drawing. More to come!!!!
